ADHD 自我評估是什麼?
The ADHD Self-Assessment screens for common symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder based on established diagnostic criteria. ADHD affects approximately 5-7% of children and 2-5% of adults worldwide, making it one of the most common neurodevelopmental conditions. ADHD manifests in three primary presentations: predominantly inattentive (difficulty focusing, forgetfulness), predominantly hyperactive-impulsive (restlessness, impulsive decisions), and combined type. Many adults with ADHD are undiagnosed because symptoms were overlooked in childhood or attributed to other factors. This screening tool asks about common ADHD-related behaviors and experiences. While it cannot provide a clinical diagnosis, it can help you understand whether your experiences align with known ADHD patterns and whether seeking professional evaluation might be worthwhile.

▶Can adults have ADHD?
Yes. ADHD is not just a childhood condition. Many adults live with undiagnosed ADHD, experiencing chronic difficulties with focus, organization, time management, and impulse control that significantly impact work and relationships.
▶Is this test a clinical diagnosis?
No. This is a screening tool only. A clinical ADHD diagnosis requires comprehensive evaluation by a qualified healthcare professional, including detailed history, behavioral assessment, and ruling out other possible conditions.
▶What should I do if my score suggests ADHD?
If your results suggest significant ADHD symptoms, consider scheduling an evaluation with a psychiatrist, psychologist, or your primary care physician. Early identification and appropriate support — whether behavioral strategies, therapy, or medication — can dramatically improve quality of life.
