At minimum 12 characters, ideally 16 or more. Each additional character exponentially increases security. A 16-character mixed password is virtually uncrackable with current technology, while an 8-character password can be broken in hours.
▶Should I use a different password for every account?
Yes, absolutely. If one service is breached and your password is exposed, reused passwords give attackers access to all your other accounts. Use a password manager to store unique passwords for each service.
▶Are generated passwords stored anywhere?
No. Passwords are generated using your browser's built-in cryptographic random number generator and are never sent to any server. Once you close or navigate away from the page, the generated password exists only where you copied it.
