O que é o Teste de Senso de Cores?

The Color Sense Test evaluates your ability to distinguish between subtle color differences, measuring your chromatic discrimination — the capacity to perceive fine variations in hue, saturation, and brightness. This ability varies significantly among individuals and is influenced by genetics, age, and screen calibration. Approximately 1 in 12 men and 1 in 200 women have some form of color vision deficiency. Even among people with normal color vision, sensitivity varies widely. Designers, photographers, and artists often develop enhanced color discrimination through professional training. The test presents groups of colored tiles where you must identify the one that differs from the rest. As you progress, the differences become increasingly subtle, pushing the limits of your color perception.

  • Progressively challenging levels that test the limits of your perception
  • Useful self-assessment for designers, photographers, and artists

Perguntas frequentes

Does screen quality affect the test results?

Yes, significantly. A high-quality IPS or OLED display with proper calibration will show color differences more accurately than a low-end TN panel. For the most reliable results, use a well-calibrated screen at full brightness.

Can color perception be trained?

To some extent, yes. While genetic factors set your baseline, professionals who work with color regularly — like designers and painters — develop enhanced sensitivity through experience and focused practice.

What is color blindness?

Color blindness (color vision deficiency) is a reduced ability to distinguish certain colors, most commonly red and green. It's usually inherited, affects about 8% of men, and ranges from mild to severe.
